Dissed due to my ride for the first time

I'm leaving early this morning, to enjoy the sunshine, and no traffic when I run into my new neighbor hauling his furniture up. After spending a few minutes introducing myself and shooting the breeze he asks about what kind of bike I have, since I'm dressed in full gear. I start to say Honda ...., and never get that point as he repeats "Honda!? Ahahahahaha, well its okay you can move onto a real bike soon."

What a goof. Considering we're going to be neighbors, I didn't say much other than it's nice out I'm going to get going. This should be fun for the next couple months, I wonder if he rides though.

From my friend I get the "Are you polishing the bike today or riding it" line! (thanks High_Side).

You gotta love the rubs other bikers give you as it gives you permission to do the same back.

Don't sweat the small people in this world! Most bikers I know are better than that. And they ride all brands, even Harleys.
