Strange how usually you look forward to sleeping in your own bed, but in that case it's a bad thing...

I went back to Metrotown Mitsubishi to have another look......I should be picking it up on Saturday.

Nice car! They have had them here in the UK and I've been seeing them on the road and in the Mitsubishi dealership (at the end of my road) for the past year and a bit. I have looked at buying one back in Canada too myself, you will have to tell me your impressions of it.

The thing with it here that kills me about it is it gets better gas milage they do in North America with nearly the same engine. Why didn't they import THAT engine into North America?? argh.

http://www.mitsubishi-motors.ca/en/vehi ... 011/specs/
Engine type 2.0L MIVEC I-4
5MT - City 8.7 L/100kms
5MT - Highway 6.4 L/100kms
5MT - Combined 7.6 L/100kms

http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/asx/sp ... ariant=PB3
Engine type 1.6L 16 Valve inline 4 cylinder, DOHC MIVEC ECI-Multi -
Urban mode lts/100km (mpg) 7.5 (37.7)
Extra urban mode lts/100km (mpg) 4.9 (57.6)
Combined mode lts/100km (mpg) 5.9 (47.9)

On the other side of the coin, it's cheaper in Canada (Starting at $21,998.00) than the UK (£18,599.00+)

Too much information right?? haha.

Mike
The UK model has a smaller engine. That's why the better fuel economy. The fuel economy is better than most SUV's here...but if you compare HP....for example....this one has 148HP compared to the Hyundai which has 178HP.....

This is the first year the RVR has been in Canada.

The 21,998 is the FWD standard model. If you like to drive a standard then you'd probably love it. I'm getting the mid range.....

Only a few more days....

Break-ups aren't generally easy, no, but I feel no overwhelming sense of guilt--more of a "that's too bad"--over what was ultimately her decision. I'm in no way saying that I'm blameless, but if you refuse to let me know what's bothering you then I can't help. Don't tell me nothing's wrong if you feel that something is.

Fair statement. It's a common theme, sad to say.

Put a bid in on a 2007 Honda CB900, called my friend who will be attending the auction (via the internet) and authorized her to bid up to $4500 on my behalf. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be enjoying riding again.

What happened to Franknwing?
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I created this today for the Cool Wall on the main site pages (where the bikes after they are voted here will be showcased)... I am really happy with the cover design.
