Meet And Eat...

This site has enough people scattered around the globe I think it's time more of us started to get to know one another...

I'd like to see at least two Meet and Eats in the near future, one in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland area and another in Calgary. I've been to a couple in Calgary before, but I'll be there for awhile this month and would love to get together with that crew again. Maybe if enough people start organizing this sort of thing in their areas, Mr TMW might have to start a new section just for such topics... If you were riding through an area, it would be great to time it if you knew there was a get together happening, or one could be organized around such an occasion if the locals knew you were coming. Sharing details of the meet later on the site would be great for everybody to hear about how it went...

That is a GREAT idea. Ever since I started Total Motorcycle I wanted people to meet up, chat, go for a ride and maybe (you never know) make a new friend.

Just last week I edited the phpBB forum code to show LOCATIONS now in the member list. So now you can see who is in your area, city, town, etc. Putting in your LOCATION in your PROFILE is not a requirement to signup, so many of the accounts do not have a location because of this. But about 61% do.

If people would like to try introducing a TMW MEET AND EAT in their area that would be awesome! I would fully support that! If it means a new forum or topic or whatever you need.

Great idea!When I first signed up I didn't realize that I did not put my area in my profile. There might be some members who did the same thing. Anybody in New Mexico?
