1st bike Hyosung GT250R

#1 Unread post by kurre7 »

Hey everybody. Not long ago I bought a Hyosung GT250R. After hearing so many people trash this bike, I bought one anyway and I really like it. I just made a quick video doing a walkaround of the bike. Any other Hyo riders here?

Next months Motorcycle Consumer News will have a comparo test of the new Honda CBR250R vs Ninja250R vs GT250R. The Hyosung seat height of 32.7" is a bit tall for me, the other 2 have 30.5" seat heights. The new Honda CBR250R interests me, sat on it at the big bike show last month and it fit my shrinking height like a glove. :)

:welcome2: to the community kurre7! Nice bike!

I think just like Hyundai and KIA cars, foreign motorcycle manufacturers are getting better and better quality products out into the market each year. Soon, you may not see much difference between a Korean bike and a Japanese one. (Remember, Japanese bikes at one time we not as good as domestic ones).

My first bike was a Hyosung GV250, the cruiser model. I've moved up to a VStar 650 but my wife now rides the Hyosung and likes it a lot. Nothing wrong with those bikes, the price is right and the gas mileage is great.

I get Motorcycle Consumer News and I'm really looking forward to the next issue. I'm very curious to see how the Hyosung stacks up against the other two bikes.
