Suzuki VS 800 Intruder and Clymer

#1 Unread post by Tsp »

I' ve done lots with the Clymer Mannual for my bike. The most extreme was last year after blowing the rear cylinder head gasket. With common sense and the required tools ( Clymer ) most anyone can do it themselves.
I had a problem with bike recently and after assuming fuel as 1 of the causes and reading Clymer, most are due to electrical, it had been a wire, opened circuit, at the base of handle bar. Re-attached and fixed. Good ole black tape blend in the veiw and good enough, WOOHOO what a relief it' s Spring !

The Clymer Manual is awesome, I've used many in my days on my bikes (2 Suzuki's included). :D

Everytime I buy a motorcycle I seach for a good used Clymer or Haynes Manual.

Thank you very much. I have learned in life that such as you, and I, have more in similarities than in differences. We are not alone.

I also had a problem lately with my vs 800. I thought I had a fuel problem cuz it started banging out once in a while. Come to find out it was my battery sliding around and grounding out against the frame.
