Re: What did you do today...
I got up this morning and fixed a cup of tea. I worked on a report on ASB repair that I hope to present here and a couple other places on the net. I went to the store and bought chicken breasts and chickpeas. I fixed up some hummus and now Im eating chips and hummus and posting.
1 can chickpeas
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup EVO
4 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste
I added 2 tablespoons artichocke & tomato antipasto for flavor
Mix in a food proccessor until smooth.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Re: What did you do today...
Rode into Seattle to meet with my recruiter to prepare for a big interview tomorrow. I think I gave him a bit of a shock when I waked in with my helmet, peircings in, and the wrist tattoo not covered up. I assured him the eyebrow rings will come out, and I'll put a watch on
(like I did when I interviewed with him!).
Got home, went into work, and now it is snowing HARD outside. Like what gives? Beautiful weather today, perfect riding weather (well as perfect as you can expect for Seattle in April)... and now it is heavily snowing?

Re: What did you do today...
Good luck Wrider (yes I know I said it on Facebook as well) considering the job would fit you like a glove.
Just discovered more of my friends and most of my family have given up on me leading me to the danger of constantly contacting the ones I have left to hang out only to leave them very annoyed (speculation). *sigh* family giving up on me as well as close friends have led to my past problems and outbursts (hoping that racing would get me better friends) and the new occurrences have negated any gain in self esteem from the new friends who are the few that I would contact often when they're not working. Plus they are getting annoyed that they are the only ones I contact and wonder if I have any other friends.
I have to find a way to break out of this before I head out to California for evaluation. It's bad enough to not have friends at home, it would be worse out there on my own.
Aside from being dropped on FB I've also got this text: "Yeah. we're hanging out. No You can't come" echos my father's "You're a waste of money. That's why we chose to give [sister's name] her riding classes."
Pretty much sums up why I was extremely edgy in the past years. All work and no play (except by yourself) started wearing me down.
/posted this because some of you I interact on a personal level. Plus, I hope this clears out my system.

Re: What did you do today...
Wow, JC... that's some serious stuff... I obviously don't know everything about your life or your history with others, but I can tell that it's been a rough haul for you. No matter how awful our parents might be, we tend to continue seeking their love and approval throughout life. I was 32 years old when I finally gave up on my dad. I even wrote him a huge letter telling him exactly how I felt and how his actions (more so, his inactions) had affected me. But letting go of him, on every level, helped me to move on with my life and create healthier relationships with others. In the end, I knew that I had to rely on myself to build my self-esteem. It took some time, but my life is waaaaay happier now that I don't worry about that "O Ring"-clown.JC Viper wrote:Good luck Wrider (yes I know I said it on Facebook as well) considering the job would fit you like a glove.

I'm glad that you were able to vent here. We're a good group of listeners. Keep moving forward, and try to focus on the things that bring positive light into your life. Things will work out...
