Re: Hate the person above game.
... for not having better eye sight, and then allowing hunger to alter the image into burrito's and foul pheasant friends... which also means you may think SV Wolf is riding the forgotten Oscar-Mayer mustard machine...
How long will these delusions of dinner remain, Doctor Bob?
Well, if you have a light snack before you start seeing Ducati Desmo labelled ketchup bottles then you'll be fine in a couple days, otherwise you risk stepping into a moving Superbike...

...for shining up all the parts on his bike so nicely that he will never ride hard enough to know the excitement of bouncing off stuff, falling off, getting back on, riding in and still feeling good enough to pose for a photo with a piece of the evidence in hand
Good days indeed!

Re: Hate the person above game.
...for hitting the nail on the head...
Although motocross bikes are made for this stuff it never hurts to maintain and repair them a little better between the inevitable crashes, so that the tweaked parts do not fatigue to the point of failure the next time they contact.
The abuse that it really reminds me of has been with my more recent, um, let's see... hmmmm... the last three street bikes. They were all very under-appreciated strays which were given up on by there owners. I just seemed to trip across them when looking for something completely different, (a Fiat Spyder in the last instance) and then would bring 'em back to working condition. This current one was left to rot far too long from the previous owner and even myself once I picked it up... and as I look closer it shows more clear signs both internally and externally of ham-fisted mechanical ineptitude -- which I hate to see most of all. Pure negligence. And maybe I have expected it to be 20 years younger, but it has given me some abuse in return, both when initially getting it running and in recent weeks when I really want to hear it purring again like a little sewing machine. But it's proven it's worth already, so I'll take some more time to cure it of it's carburetion illnesses.
Good food for thought.
