Forgot to put down the kickstand?
You expect to set the bike on the kickstand, then opps!! You forgot to put it down! Did it fall over? Any damage? Or are you too experienced to remember ever forgetting the kickstand?

Re: Forgot to put down the kickstand?
I've busted an indicator when I didn't put down the kickstand.
I've only forgotten once or twice though.
I forget to retract the stand more often. Fortunately, the bike won't start if the kickstand's down and the bike isn't in neutral.

I'm with Honda Girl... never done that one, thank god! If I did, I think I'd have to change my pants.

ditto...
I can see riding off with the sidestand still down but I can't possibly see how one could dismount without putting it down.

Re: Forgot to put down the kickstand?
All most forgot to do it once, but as I was laying it over to the kickstand and it seemed to be getting real heavy, I realized the stand was not down.

Re: Forgot to put down the kickstand?
Been there done that. Caught the bike as it was getting HEAVY. Didn't actually drop it that time,
but boy was I embarrassed.
