Today, I spent sometime designing Total Motorcycle Guide covers:

And you may laugh at me for this, but after 5 years, the Total Motorcycle Performance Guide finally has a cover of it's own as well...

Not even 9am and it's already been a long day. I swear, some days it feels like "kill or be killed" with these kids.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Rode to work at 4:30AM, rain started pouring down 10 minutes after I arrived. Rain stopped, then a down pour hits an hour before I go home......time to go home and the sun is out....so stopped off at Future Shop and used my gift card to pick up a new MP3 player....rode home in glorious sunshine with just the right amount of dark and threatening clouds to make it interesting......colour me strange, but I actually prefer riding when its cooler and the weather is unpredictable, adds a bit of spice to the ride.
Always ask why.

Greetings from California (back in NYC for Memorial day and my B-day)

Image

California and the Dodge Challenger have turned me into a Steve McQueen. I've been enduring a torturous examinations with the last one being on a borrowed Navy obstacle course and I'm not even getting paid but we'll see... meanwhile some no talents are getting paid to race motorcycles and cars this weekend while I turn another year older giving me another year out of reach for pro racing (I did some novice stuff while in Cali and did great but my age was a factor).

Like the police instructor says "The world needs ditch diggers." FML

*I drifted the Challenger and was a bit naughty in the canyon roads... I kept traction control off considering I never needed it and loved hearing the tires squeal. I can always deny this post was real...

**I wore my field jacket because I had bandages and bruises all over.

If you know anything about racing you would know that this is not true. Paid racing gigs are earned.

Yeah well I work 3rd shift. It rains when I come into work it rains when I leave for home. Its been thunderstorms and flying tree branch's so I would rather be in my vehicle where I can run over the tree branches lol.

Now trying to decide on a rocker switch that will look cool and function as the old power inverter jack in my wifes Saturn Outlook XR. She fried the micro switch actuators (micro switch's still work) so I soldered a piece of wire between the switch's to close them 100% of the time. Power Inverters dont like to be on all the time so I would rather put in a rocker switch to turn it on and off as needed which means I still bypass the micro switch's :D.

I replaced the headliner in my car today. The next thing is replace the upholstery under the rear window(rear deck). Then hopefully repaint the poor old thing. Speaking of upholstery, How hard is it to redo a bike seat I would like to put better cushion in the seat of the FZR. Anyone have any leads on better padding????
