Be careful with that peg. Once metal is bent back into place it loses alot of strength. I would look into getting another one if I was you.Sevulturus wrote:

Many years ago while riding in Wyoming, came across some road construction. Where the earth movers were crossing the highway, the DOT decided that it would be a good idea to pile about 1 ft of sand on the road so the movers wouldn't tear up the asphalt. While riding with my wife on the back, I very slowly attempted to cross the sand but for some reason, stopped in the middle of it. Then gave the bike too much throttle and the back tire just dug into the sand causing me to loose balance and over we went, kinda like the little guy on the show Laugh in on the tricycle for you older folks. No one got hurt and all I could do was lay there and laugh along with the other 14 riders that were with us. That was until I looked up and saw one of those earth movers bearing down on us. Didn't know I could pick the bike up so fast.... Anyone that has ridden for awhile has an embarrassing story to tell.. It happens to all of us at some time.
