Need help choosing my very first bike!

#1 Unread post by Kriscius »

Hi everyone. I'm new here! I never ever rode a motorcycle before, but I want one badly, so I decided to get one. I don't want to spend a lot of money on my first bike, because I'll probably crash it a lot and stuff. Well, I need help buying my first bike. I found a deal on 1994 suzuki gn 125. The man said it can go at around 100km/h. He also told that it's all in working order. He is asking 200 euro for it. Here are some pictures:

And another one. A 1998 suzuki RG80. The seller is asking 220 euro for it. He said everything is in working order, but it might need work in looks. Also, is that an original colour? Here are some pictures:

Finally, what do you think about 1986 yamaha rd 250? i haven't found any pictures of this bike on internet though. Also, how many kW's does it have? The seller wants 250 euro. Here are some pictures:

Welcome Kriscius!

Glad you joined the community and are looking to get into motorcycling. You will LOVE it!

For the 3 bikes, I would go for the GN125 myself, it looks the most original and in best shape, the other 2 I would stay away from as they look like they haven't been taken care of as well and are missing quite a few parts. The GN125 has some "red" around the clocks there, is that gaffer's tape?

Thanks for posting the photos, that was a GREAT idea.

Welcome!

Mike
