Yeah the circle route was great and I definetly recommend it. Your so close it is a must do
. I don't have any trips planned across the Rockies. I have done it many times in cars and once in a truck and camper and it is a great trip with fantastic scenery but wasn't one of those trips that I was thinking "man I wish I was on a bike". I was actually in Calgary this weekend so my wife and I rented a car to see those Rockies once again. They are spectacular! It would be a great bike trip scenery wise but there are so many other twisty windy roads I want to explore first.
