Yeah, I had a Dakota before the diesel...not terrible, but got the same mileage as a half ton...but I liked the size of the Dakota at the time, my kids were smaller and I had a tent trailer at the time...

But I thought this was a bike forum...

I need to get on the maintenance, chain needs some attention...and a bath couldn't hurt...I ran out of evening...before I could get to the bike (building a shed in the backyard for wifey  )

Later.

Yup, the hard part is getting her to go in while I screw the door shut!!

:boat:

She's been bugging me to build it for two years, so this year she gets her garden shed...8x10 monstrosity in the backyard (it's a nice shed, but pretty big for our yard)...I told her the kids swingset had to go, so atleast I will get some of the yard back...then I can build my toy shed...15x30 to cover the parking pad that is back there, then the truck & bikes will have a better home!!

No more parking on the driveway uncovered for the truck and no more kids bikes right next to my bike...Man Cave!! :kicking:

Later.

Just did 12 hours of HTML code to optimise the site even further, boy, that's too much code for one day! LOL.

I took a semester of info tech class in the Fall of 2009 and for the final project, I had to design a webpage with workable links, pics, etc, all written in HTML. I got an A on the project and the class but I have absolutely no recollection whatsoever of writing codes in HTML now. I also took a UNIX/Linux class and learned all the codes, vi and vim editors, etc and once again I have forgotten pretty much everything in the last 2 years. :ninja:

Yeah, and awesome band. Great fun finding a "new" band to listen to.

Les Claypool has gone solo now and has more great stuff. If you search the TotalMo forums for "primus" you will a few music threads that i tossed in some songs.

A few albums I have that come to mind, Pork Soda, Sailing The Seas of Cheese, the Brown Album.

a few songs from the many great ones: Jerry was a Racecar Driver, Sgt. Baker, Winona's Big Brown Beaver, Tommy The Cat, Here Come The Bast****... then the Fishing Chronicles are all good fun, yada yada yada... and they cover some good bands too, like Pink Floyd.

Well, in keeping with the thread :D I'm yabbering about music, finishing dinner (salmon), and then heading out to do some climbing...

But the rear is toast  ...I was lucky to get home and not be stuck on the side of the road with a flat...or worse...

Anyone know much about Avon Storm 2 tires...I'm going sport touring this time, the Pirelli Corsa III have crap tread life...

Later.

I have a few friends who like the Storm 2s, but I've also heard good things about the Pilot Power IIIs and their tread life.

I have the Pirelli MT66 on my bike and so far I am at 8000 miles and still have 1/2" tread left. I figure I have at least another 8000 miles before I will have to put new tires on.
