Re: What did you do today...
Relaxed & recovered from a long day out at the Great Dorset Steam Fair yesterday. Over 600 acres of exhibits so didn't quite manage it all!
Great day out & good company too!

Have also booked 2 nights away for brighton Speed Trials next weekend!

Can't wait
(pre birthday treat)

Re: What did you do today...
I went to the track for the first time to watch a "Track Attack" day...very cool...I don't think I want to be that tough on my bike, but it was cool to watch...the person I was there with was really excited for next season...she just bought a 2011 ZX6R...she's been riding a Ninja 250 this year and has two track sessions on that and obviously caught the bug...now she has a bike that is more suited to the speeds that she wants to hit...although I hope she practices more on the Ninja, to get a better feel for the track before going out on a more serious bike...
Here's a pic I took...(I didn't remember to take out the camera until just before I left...duh!!)
We were at Stratotech Park in Fort Saskatchewan, AB...

Later.

Re: What did you do today...
Today I started working on all the maintenance work on Maggie that I could think of. I rebuilt the calipers and master cylinder as well as the clutch hydraulics. I figured since its an 84 so new rubber parts would be a good idea. I have to get some differential lube and change that tomorrow. She stops so EASY and smooth now. I am planning on taking it on a 2000 miles trip in the next couple months and want everything just right. With my new fairing and saddleman double bucket seat it should be pretty nice for traveling. I am still hoping to find a sissy bar and cargo rack before the trip.

(well, yesterday)
Andrea and I went to our first Football game at Wembley Stadium... 77,800 people (out of 80,000) were there. England vs. Wales. 1-0. Interesting 90 mins.

Re: What did you do today...
Wow! That is a huge stadium.
Today I worked and worked late. Then I drove someone to the Skytrain (commuter train like the idea of a subway but this is mostly overhead) and then went into the mall and bought a new SD card so I'll have plenty of picture taking on my holiday.

Re: What did you do today...
Went dove hunting for the first time. On a related note, figured out how to expend 2 hours, a box of 12 gauge shells, and many choice words just to get a small dinner on the table... But darn if it wasn't fun!
