Dad's 77 BMW r75 was revived this weekend! She's all original with 9k on it. My 06 super glide has 24k on it (bought with 22k in may). His has sat for 17 or 18 years, we had to use carb cleaner on one of the carbs as it was sticking. Fresh battery, fresh gas, fired on the first start. One puff of smoke then she hummed along with no problems.
I was very impressed, and though it might not have been much of a project I thought someone out there might think it is cool.
