Awesome, thanks for subscribing.
I was kinda late to the YouTube party (as I didn't really have a video camera) and created the TMW channel in late 2010. Seems to be really taking off now with 1,762 subscribers now, the majority of which has signed up in the past 2 months. I try to create videos as often as possible (I have a tonne of videos to put up), but each one takes a few hours to do and I have to really work hard to fit that time in amoungst the work already I have to do with the TMW site. But I try.
I can relate...I've been shooting a bunch of video (most of them have been boring and I didn't even bother trying to edit & produce)...but I need to get more creative with my camera mounting and where/what I shoot...needs to be somewhat interesting, unless the videos are just for personal...I like to make videos to share my part of the world with others...friends made in Australia, USA, England, Finnland, etc...all through forums...kinda fun to do video exchanges...
I'm just having fun with the camera that I got for Xmas last year...have figured out that the audio through the camera is crap...so working on that aspect...
One suggestion...for your review videos, add some commentary...not snips from elsewhere, but your personal opinion...makes it more like talking to a buddy, not listening to a press release...

It's fun shooting the video and watching it. I haven't had a mic so commentary is hard with just the camera but do-able. I have a GoPRo HD and I wish they had added the mic jack with it so you could attach a mic... oh well. I'll see what I can do. Plus, you REALLY want to hear what I sound like?? hahaha.
I've got a Contour VholdR...easy to use, a little more aerodynamic...very durable (survived my crash this season)...the mic that's built into it is cr@p too (over sensitive)...so I use a separate device and record audio at the same time...more of a hassle when editing, but much better quality sound...I'm using my iPod Touch to record audo...but I think I will just get a small recorder, the iPod software is a pain if it doesn't want to "Sync" with your computer and let you at the audio clip...I have a bunch of video that I can't get the audio off the iPod for...friggin Apple...
They're fun toys to play with though...I need to work on my content...the vids are boring for others to watch...I've been just kinda winging it, but I should make a plan for the video before shooting...then I won't be puting videos on YouTube that only I want to watch...

Have enjoyed what I've watched so far & so has my fella
Glad you are liking my YouTube Channel! I keep adding videos all the time (from around YouTube and my own). Lots to view, I haven't even seen them all myself...haha
Madjak, totally feel your lament about creating videos others want to watch. I've got a dozen vids on YT, shot with the GoPro Hero 1080 I got last July, and I have a hell of a time getting views (1,350 to date). I came to the realization that I need more than one camera, so that'll be my goal for next summer.
Using a separate device for capturing audio sounds like a PITA, how do you get the audio synced with the video? I usually just lay on a music track over the video myself, but that's not always ideal.
