So in the last 3 weeks I know of 8 bikes that have been stolen in CO. Everything from stock to full custom. Fair warning to anyone here in CO or coming near CO, LOCK YOUR BIKES UP! They've been stolen from apartment parking lots, keyed access garages, private garages, etc.
On a side note: if anyone starts seeing parts go up for sale unusually cheap, please let me know. Most of the parts on the bikes that are being stolen are identifiable due to details/scratches/etc.

Re: Seems CO has attracted a motorcycle theft ring
Wow- I get into Colorado Springs last Wednesday and all the sudden there's a motorcycle crime spree. Coincidence?
Well yeah. Entirely.
Wrider- where's a good place for a guy to get a meal in the springs?

Re: Seems CO has attracted a motorcycle theft ring
I didn't. Well I saw a story of a motorcycle thief in Pueblo killing himself in a high speed chase. But that's it. FWIW I also know of a motorcycle thief in the Springs who is currently in the ICU because a truck pulled out in front of him a week after he stole a friend's CBR600.
