Re: What did you do today...
Went for my first longish ride tonight...forgot my camera battery charger at the campsite, so I had to ride the 125kms each way...my bike sounds and feels great!! I'm sad I've missed 3 months of riding...but now I'm going to have to make up for lost time...250kms~155miles tonight!
Later.
Later.

Re: What did you do today...
In preparation for my weekend trip I got out my tent and assembled it.
Phew.
It has been a long time since I used this particular one so it took a while to figure it out.
It is now strapped to my motorcycle. It will be one less thing to get ready tomorrow night.
Sunny Okanagan here I come.

Yes...I'll be in the neighbourhood on Saturday. I'll be in touch with Doc cuz I'll be pitching my tent in his camp site for Saturday night. I managed to get a B and B room for Sunday night. My back will appreciate it after sleeping on the gorund the night before.
Once you guys decide on a time Doc can text me.

Re: What did you do today...
Can't wait! My daughter is pumped to go for the ride. We'll leave Vernon around 11am, should get us there in plenty of time...I hope!
The drive to Vernon was uneventful, just the way I like it...8 & 1/2 hours in the truck with three daughters was excitement enough!
See you tomorrow.

Re: What did you do today...
2nd day (of 3) of my Basic Motorcycle training course! Did the written course test at the end of the day and I'm happy to report both Andrea and I got 100/100. (50 questions @ 2 points each).
Also rode the Suzuki Eliminator's around the parking lot and got used to them (more on that later), tomorrow, the other 1/2 of the training then the test. Flying through so far all the test, but having a little difficulty doing the 18' double U-Turn (I shouldn't be having an issue, but I am putting my foot down at full handlebar lock occasionally), tomorrow I'm going to try using a little rear brake and some more clutch/throttle/rpm action.
