What bike do you want today?

#1 Unread post by totalmotorcycle »

A thread inspired by Adventure Rider and thought it would be perfect to start up here at Total Motorcycle.

If you guys are like me then there is always a bike that you want, and it changes on a nearly daily basis! I often stumble across something while browsing the internet, or see something riding down the road that sparks a 24 hour love affair! Then when you get home it sparking a flurry of internet research and daydreaming!

Today.....
2013 V7 Stone
2013 V7 Stone
But I can't decide if it should be in gloss pearl white or flat matt black! argh.

I just want the bike I have--Triumph Bonneville--to have ABS. If I got that, it would be the perfect bike.

I'd like to play with a SachMadass for an hour or so, and I'd really like to take a Can Am Spyder for an extended test ride, but I don't want to own either. Maybe the Spyder later, when 2 wheels is no longer an option... For that matter, I'd like to test out a Harley TriGlide, too.

Not sure why the Bonneville's do not have ABS, but for me, I don't miss it, although, I haven't rode a bike with ABS so...

Ah, a motus transverse V4! Now that is something you don't see everyday. Just a tad overkill, but hey, if a double cheeseburger isn't enough! :D

I am torn between two bikes, the Triumph Sprint GT (or preferably, a new ST) and the new Triumph Trophy. Both are classed as Sport Touring bikes, my favourite style of bike and riding, however they are on opposite ends of the ST spectrum. The Sprint appeals to the inner hooligan in me while the Trophy appeals my more sedate and gentlemanly side (aka, damn I am getting old and turning into a Geezer side)

To be honest, I would be hard pressed to pick between the two if I had the coin to get them. No matter which I picked, I would still be wondering if I shouldn't of gotten the other. Damn you Triumph.....
Always ask why.

Well, there is the choice of getting both...

$50,000,000 Lottomax or the $11,000,000 649 Lottery or both if you're really lucky... :o)

Oh, you know about my retirement plan then?

Man, if I were to hit either I would buy a smallish house on Vancouver Island with a dirty great garage....small house to live in and a dirty great garage to store all my toys, I'd have bikes of all manner and types out the wazoo......
Always ask why.
