Need help in Diagnostics Lights on 1965 M12 motor Cycle

#1 Unread post by Panther »

Please help point me in the right direction, My M12 Suzuki Motor cycle runs good , But all the lights stopped working I herd a pop like a fuse blowing, although there are no fuses on this bike, Is it the selenium rectifier that controls the power to the lights?

Do you have a volt - ohm meter or DVM that you can read the voltage with?

Yes I have a Ohms/volt meter just not sure at what points I need to test, I believe the system is 6 Volt as that is what the bulds are rated for.

OK set the meter for voltage and set the voltage above 12 volts. Now read how many volts you have across the headlight (while the bike is running).

Do you have a manual for the bike?
