There were many great models even I thought would be successful that turned out to be not great sellers (Honda 599/919 for example). Fair or not, sales (money) talks.

NOTES: It is always interesting to see how many posts the discussion gets vs how many votes are posted. In the most interesting bikes, you get a lot of both, but as the bike approaches the "meh" option it still gets high votes but not a lot of talk about it. Just an interesting view point and I think somehow the 2013 BMW R1200RT fits into this category. I wonder if this theory would also translate to a bike night as well. Now I can't see how this bike ranked higher (69.9%) than the new FZ9 (68.7%) or the Triumph Thunderbird (64.4%) I am sure either of those bikes would draw much more attention, but that's just IMHO.

But it still ranks as cool on our wall because for Victory it is something different in their lineup and it's well priced too. Love it or hate it, it's still pretty cool, but Victory could have made it even cooler we think.

NOTES: Wow, a great voter turnout = a great voter result! 80.8% rockets the 2013 Aprilia RSV4 R APRC up to our #4 spot on the 2013 Cool Wall (#1 is 83%, #2 82% and #3 81%). For a bike some have called "a modern UJM" the Aprilia really does stand out to the majority of riders. Could be the wonderful V4 engine, might be a high quality (and class) Aprilia name or maybe even the price. The magic is definitely there whatever it is.

NOTES: Harley-Davidson (always remember to put that - between them, H-D gets testy if you forget...it's a true story you'll have to ask me about sometime) turns a corner and introduces their first High Output and water cooled Big Twin engine. Will H-D find new rider favor with this new design or turn away die-hard loyals? Overall, I did expect more interest in the new 2014 model and I know that Harley-Davidson does read this thread as well so I wonder what they are thinking too... I'm sure they are gathering rider feedback all over the place but 60.3% Coolness isn't that bad of an ending.

Another interesting fact is that you can buy 5 or 6 V-Star 250's for 1 2014 Harley-Davidson FLHXS Street Glide Special. Sometimes price alone doesn't make something "cooler".
