Realities For Children 14th Annual Ride & Rally Ft. Collins, CO - Realities For Children Charities, a 20 year old non-profit organization in Fort Collins dedicated to serving the unmet needs of children who have been abused, neglected or who are at risk, announces their official thank you and event results to the community. The 14th Annual Realities Ride & Rally occurred in Washington Park over Memorial Day Weekend and was host to over ten thousand people who came together in an effort to raise money for at-risk children in our community.

The event is an important outreach effort combined with motorcycling, fun family activities, music and food- that has not only gained a world-wide stage for the cause and mission of service, but has recently become one of the largest fundraising efforts in Colorado for abused children.

"We hope this announcement reaches far and wide in to our community with a very heart-felt 'THANK YOU' for the sponsorship support, for the assistance and donations from hundreds of companies, for the enthusiasm and hours provided by our volunteers and the overall community collaboration that it took to make this happen," says Event Director for Realities For Children, Amy Madden Copp.

The two-day music and food festival has become a cornerstone to the Realities For Children fundraising efforts and because of the underwriting support of year-round Business Members and Event Sponsors, the non-profit organization is able to donate 100% of all funds raised for Emergency Services of children who have been abused, neglected or are at-risk in Larimer County when all other resources are exhausted or otherwise unavailable. The Realities Ride began 14 years ago with 75 motorcyclists coming together to help children in need and has become the largest Motorcycle Poker Run in the World as substantiated by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2013.

OFFICIAL STATS: This year's Realities RIDE hosted 2,800 motorcyclists known as "Realities Riders" who chose to ride in the ride that changes lives for children in need. The ride visited 5 communities in Northern Colorado including Loveland, Berthoud, Masonville, Laporte and ended at Washington Park in Fort Collins. An estimated 12,000+ guests attended over the two days at the RALLY (or festival portion). The event surpassed last year's efforts and reached the goal of just over $100,000 for the Emergency Fund.
