Fuel Recs
Hey all. Looking to see what type of fuel other people are running in their old bikes. I recently picked up an 85 Virago. Any thoughts?

Re: Fuel Recs
In my older bikes, I just ran regular fuel and they never complained. I remember trying premium but never found a difference, but this was ~13 years ago for my 1982 bike and before adding ethanol was a thing. The issue today I would imagine would be that percentage of ethanol, I know it does affect plastic fuel parts in your tank.TurnipJohn wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 11:26 am Hey all. Well done BTW on keeping your '85 on the road and going. Great to see vintage still rolling.

Re: Fuel Recs
Bump your pilot and main jets up a size and turn your A/F screws out 2.5 turns and keep using 87. The changes will make better use of the oxygenated ethanol fuel.
