Sorry the forum timed out on your for your post, that can be incredibly frustrating. I looked into the settings and unless I missed something here are our current forum settings for autologoff and time-outs.

For editing a post - Unlimited (never expire)

Limit editing time:
Limits the time available to edit a new post. Setting the value to 0 disables this behaviour.

Log-In Expiry:

21600 seconds (or 6 hours)

A New Post timout: 7200 seconds (2 hours)

Maximum time to submit forms:
The time a user has to submit a form (ie. a post)

So I'm not sure what timed out on you in 10 mins unless you exceeded those above limited. We do not use caching or CDN for the forums either so that wouldn't be it either.

I'm open to helping you troubleshoot this for sure, just need more info and a screen shot as if you are experiencing it, it is possible others are as well.
