Buying Today
Hi folks, this am, I'm going to pick up my new Suzuki Boulevard, M50. I haven't ridden in about 25 years, so that adds to the excitement. Anybody familiar with the M50? I'd like to hear from you. So far, I've heard nothing but good things about it. Looking forward to enjoying this forum.
Best wishes to all

The 2005 Suzuki M50 is a GREAT looking motorcycle. Even though I love naked/standard bikes I felt it pull on my heart strings at the Motorcycle Show when I saw it.

I know that our moderator Loonette just purchased a 2005 Suzuki M50 and she seems to be quite happy with it.

More information on Total Motorcycle about it? Of course! Take a look:

Buying a New bike
I have never bought a new bike. Do you usually pay MSRP or is there room to negoiate? Are there end of the month incentives (like buying a car)? What's the deal?
That's my decision too. (only I have to wait 'til the weekend
).
I've been looking for the last few months and finally realized that, not only is the M50 a great bike, but it FIT me.
We have a dozen or so dealers in the area and all are at MSFP except one. He cuts 10% off up front and doesn't charge any set up fees or shipping.... Just a rider wanting to spread the joy.
Lookin' forward to hearing about your first ride.

Having just bought a new bike there is a lot of room to negoiate like a car. Visit several dealers and have quotes ready...very similar tactics to a car. Make sure you are willing to walk if you're not hearing what you're getting.I have never bought a new bike. Do you usually pay MSRP or is there room to negoiate? I recently purchased the Shadow 600, msrp 5,699 purchased 4,500 plus jacket & gloves. During the summer season though I think the negoiating room is a lot tougher.
