wouldn't it be punishment enough to wake up every morning and have to see Hillary????

I have to admit I was a lot less angry at the govt during the Clinton era, generally speaking. These days, I am ticked at everything GW the midiot says and does.

Personally I'd prefer the guy with his finger on the doomsday button to get a BJ and smoke a joint once in a while sorta to relieve the stress of the job.........

The whole Clinton thing is something I have a problem with, not just in politicians but in celebs as well. At the end of the day who cares who they sleep with or what they do in their private life???

As long as they arent breaking any laws why shouldnt someone who's job puts them in the public have the same reasonable expectation of privacy that the rest of us have. It is getting ridiculous.

Its not just something that happens Stateside, we have more than our fair share of grubby little tabloid hacks that are more than willing to destroy someones public life on the basis of what should be their private life.

From my point of view over here, Clinton felt like a safer pair of hands on the wheel than either of the George Bush administrations. Of course at the end of the day I dont have to live with them as Domestic National Leaders, just the consequences of what they do on the world stage.

That is merely a comment that the Bush administration is a dead horse. :)

Speaking of poor appointments, here's some comments by distinguished columnist, George Will - a noted CONSERVATIVE - on Bush's latest Supreme Court nominee...

"He (Bush) has neither the inclination nor the ability to make sophisticated judgments about competing approaches to construing the Constitution. Few Presidents acquire such abilities in the course of their pre-Presidential careers, and this President, particularly, is not disposed to such reflections.

Furthermore, there is no reason to believe that Miers’ nomination resulted from the President’s careful consultation with people capable of such judgments. If 100 such people had been asked to list 100 individuals who have given evidence of the reflectiveness and excellence requisite in a justice, Miers’ name probably would not have appeared in any of the 10,000 places on those lists. "

Well, George has made another boneheaded nomination of an unqualified inner circle buddy from Texas. A thread like this could theoretically go on until '08

I watched his news conference yesterday, and can only say that I've never seen anybody say so much about nothing while maintaining a variable intensity smirk for that long a period of time. If he is the best we can dredge up to lead our country, we are doomed. He's had over four years to learn to at least look the part, but none of it seems to catch on with him.
I always expect to be shocked and appalled at any decision he makes, and the Miers choice is no exception. George just seems to be out there in space someplace, mentally. He is dangerous to all of us.
