Man if this forum doesn't recommend litre bikes to newbs... who would qualify for an engine of that size?

Check out the "slight" dent on the left side of the gas tank!
Looks like the bike fell over on a fire hydrant.

the seller says, I can go to the panal beaters to pop the 'slight dent' out......otherwise the bike is pretty much in good condition

The dent is on a ridge so it will require a lot more work than just popping it out.

Seems a little high priced for a 15 yr old 250 with some "damage" to it. A cleaner version should cost about the same, IMO. Sounds like this was dropped a couple of times.
IF it was closer to $500 AU then it might be worth the risk.

Thats the thing.... I look everywhere and in Australia and the avergage price is aroung 2 grand
. Another one on ebay, a 1991 model went for $2100.
