Dies on choke, weird sound on idle

I had a vaccum leak, and once I got that taken care of this started so I think it's related. The bike won't idle on choke, I used to need it to start, doesn't need that now. Also, now when it idles I get a weird sound. Like rolling a can with a few rocks in it just not nearly as loud, you almost have to know what to listen for to hear it, but it's definately new.

Sound familiar to anyone?

sounds like clutch basket rattle--need to synchronize carburetors--sometimes this will stop it.
