should i go get my permit ?

You should just call the MSF and see what they tell you for your area. In Va you don't need your permit to get your license. You take the MSF written test, and then the MSF practical and you take that certificate to the DMV and they give you an unrestricted license.

Also, the learners permit written test, and by that I mean computerized test, is pretty hard in Virginia. Mainly because the booklet doesn't match up with the test. I passed and missed two, and my girlfriend missed 6 so she failed. however, we contested the test answers with the answers in the booklet and both walked out with our permits.

The booklet is horribly written, unless someone can define clutchilly for me I'm sticking to that. Anyone?
