Oil tops $57 a barrel

Gasoline supply triggers record for futures; refiners worry they may not meet summer demand.

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil prices rose above $57 a barrel Friday and gasoline futures jumped to record highs, driven by worries that U.S. gas supplies might fall short of peak summer demand and concerns that crude prices could spike to $105 a barrel.

Gas is now at 89.9 cents a litre here in Calgary, Alberta and we have oil and gas! (or $3.40 a gal!)

I heard that in Vancouver, British Columbia gas has passed the $1 a litre mark (or $3.785 a gal)!

With the news talking about $105 a barrel in the future, it will only raise the price more! ARGH!

Even my bike is going to cost $20-40 to fill up!

I hope you're not an accountant ...

But yeah, I agree w/ the sentiment. Europe's definitely got the idea.
