I had diaphragm on my carbs that had some little bubles in it (not pearced). And I was wondering what would be the trouble if this diaphragm would not create the proper vacuum? It's an inline four.

True, if it's the petcock diaphram with a hole in it. If it's the diaphram on the slide in the carb, then the slides don't see the correct vacuum signal and react accordingly.Cockney Rebel wrote:With no vacuum you would get no fuel to your carbs ,the vacuum opens the fuel tap
Either way, a diaphram is a diaphram and should not have holes in the membrane......

No Witnesses....
