Hello All...

#1 Unread post by Jeepxtreme »

I happened to surf on in here and figured I would say hi to everyone... I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (currently armpit deep in snow...). Looking forward to being a member of this forum and keeping everyone posted on the happenings of the UP...

Welcome aboard! I guess with snow up to your armpits, the Jeep isn't going to work, let alone a bike. That's where TWM comes in. The good folks here will help you make it through to the next riding/wheeling season. So do you have a bike? What's your riding experience?

Welcome! I'm from the lower peninsula myself (Petoskey). The best two vehicles you can have are a bike and sailboat, but a jeep is a close third!

A little more about me...

#5 Unread post by Jeepxtreme »

I'm chomping at the bit waiting for all this snow to melt to get my bike out. I currently have two bikes. I have a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic and a 1994 Vulcan 750. I recently acquired the 750, but not in a way that I wanted to get it. It was my dad's bike... He was killed on it August 27 of this year. The bike is in remarkable condidtion considering... The only thing I still need to get it back in shape is the right side foot peg and rear brake lever. The bike looks like whoever was riding it should have got up and said damn, thats gonna leave a mark...
I have been riding since I was 12. Bought my first little Kawa 100 enduro and have been hooked ever since... It's in my blood for life. Been riding about 23 years pretty steady.

Hi & Welcome to the Forum....Jeep-X

I'm very Sad about what happened to your Dad!!

It sounds incredible considering the lack of damage to the Machine!

I guess at least he went out doing something he loved.
