Getting that "new" bike home?

When i got my first bike, a used 360 Honda. I had never riden. The dealer says: "can you ride a bicycle?" i said yes, he then told me to ride it home, so i did. Of course i live in a rual area.

I had never ridden before so i just tossed it in the back of my truck and carted it home. it was a twenty five minute highway drive home... the woman wouldnt allow it. something about inexpereince and never having ridden before led her to put her foot down on this one.

never ridden, no truck either so i paid $100 for delivery.

but the worst part was that i had to wait 2 days before i got it since i have work on the next 2 days after i bought it.

those are 2 of the longest days of my life.

I'm about to buy, and am likely going to borrow the father in law's trailer. I've been off bikes for a few years now and don't want to take a chance. Plus, there's a couple of centimetres of snow on the road nowadays. . .

Ought to move to Arizona, it was 72 degrees yesterday. Oh, I'm sorry, let's make that 22 degrees Celcius!

On another note, I rode my bike home from the dealership three days ago. About a 20 mi ride, back roads, main roads, and just a little bit of freeway. They told me it's legal to ride a bike home from a dealership without a license.

I put my bike in trailer (rented from U-Haul, $39.00/day) since I din't have license nor experience and where I pick up was about 70 miles from home. waited about a week to get permit and then a couple weeks later for MSF course.

I Drove it home... From sanford to Orlando. About 50 miles

My brother was my "BLOCKER"... And the I-4 was Realy a chalenge.

I don't know the law in Arizona, but this sounds a bit fishy to me. Did you check on this? Sounds like a con.
