Getting that "new" bike home?
I had never ridden before so i just tossed it in the back of my truck and carted it home. it was a twenty five minute highway drive home... the woman wouldnt allow it. something about inexpereince and never having ridden before led her to put her foot down on this one.

Ought to move to Arizona, it was 72 degrees yesterday. Oh, I'm sorry, let's make that 22 degrees Celcius!canuckerjay wrote:I'm about to buy, and am likely going to borrow the father in law's trailer. I've been off bikes for a few years now and don't want to take a chance. Plus, there's a couple of centimetres of snow on the road nowadays. . .
On another note, I rode my bike home from the dealership three days ago. About a 20 mi ride, back roads, main roads, and just a little bit of freeway. They told me it's legal to ride a bike home from a dealership without a license.

I don't know the law in Arizona, but this sounds a bit fishy to me. Did you check on this? Sounds like a con.
