Non-Corbin Beetle-style bags?

Hello all.

I've been debating for a while what kind of bike I want. Then, I happened up on this puppy and fell in love: http://www.valkyrieriders.com/JustPics/cool52.jpg It's a 1997 Honda Valkyrie.

I really like the look of the Corbin Beetle Bags on it, but to be quit honest, they are too freakin' expensive. Do any of you happen to know of a more cost effective, but cosmetically similar item?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I wanted a Valkyrie once, but then I watched it litterally eat a 5 year old and decided that was too mean a bike for me.

Honestly, I don't like the looks of the bags on it. They take away from part of the bikes flair

ReverendCow... keep an eye on the classifieds of the same Valkyrie site where you got the picture, they come up once in a while.

Also, did you happen to notice that that particular Valkyrie is fitted with a car tire on the rear? Lots of people can't accept that the Valkyrie still handles well (just a bit differently) once the rider has become accustomed to the change. I run a Yokohama AVS Sport on mine.

You'll love the Valkyrie, an awesome bike that performs much more like a sport bike than a cruiser. It was also named "Cruiser of the Decade" by MotorcycleCruiser magazine. Plus, it is different from the rest of the V-twins out there.

You won't regret your choice of bike!!!

Uh-oh. I didn't realize this was going to be your FIRST bike. Yes, some people have done it successfully....but it is not a recommended practice.

Sadly, no. I emailed them, though, and found out that it was sold four years ago. The original owner had certain chrome portions of the engine powder coated black, and the exhaust was ceramic coated black.
