I think that is the definition of being a squid.

Yeah, that's not a squid bike. That's a lot of money to invest in it. And you can be certain it's going to have several thousand dollars invested in the engine and exhaust. Compared to a squid who will add a bolt on exhaust and a sticker kit to get it to look nice. You don't spend that much on paint when you're a squid.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

It is cool, no doubt. But not really my thing. The only thing that would make that a squid bike is if a squid got on it and pulled wheelies during rush hour or some other such stunt.

i love the power on that bike but it really is disgusting.....though i gotta admit, that paint job makes it look alot better. still, i'd pick a stock gixxer over it anyday.

I think a good definition of a squid, but surely not a complete one, is a rider in pursuit of maximum attention. I can easily picture this guy riding it around in a muscle shirt and flip-flops. Your right, its probably a show bike, but like I said it screams of squid to me.

I don't know. I like it when a bike gets a real customization. You have to admit that it'd be funny as hell if he road it around town.

Think of all the kids that would gather around it. Pictures would be taken, memories would be made, nightmares would be had. I'm sorry guys but that bike is immortal compared to most of our John Does.
