My headlight on my '81 Honda CM400 just doesn't light up the road enough anymore. I checked the local dealer for a replacement sealed beam headlight and they wanted $80! for one.
I don't know too much about the conversion kits, but was wondering if there was another alternative than buying another sealed beam?
What seems to be much brighter at night, but still works with side-mounting style headlight?
Thanks for your help!

you should be able to find a conversion kit that will replace your sealed beam with a lense and reflector case that holds a standard H3 Halogen bulb. This bulb can then be upgraded to a Sylvania (Osram) Silverstar bulb which will light up the road more than a standard H3 bulb.

Bike Bandit has sealed beam headlights for your bike for $42.91 (not knowing which model your bike is, I selected the CM400A from the drop down menu)
