ZOX Helmets...never heard of 'em

I just got back from a bike shop where they had ZOX brand helmets...does anyone know about them? I'd never heard of them before. They're on the cheap side...how do they hold up and how do they handle with crashed?

Hrm...I'm curious as to if they're decent. They just seem so...underpriced though. Makes me worried (although they didn't undergo Snell testing, which should keep that down a bit)

Also, what about things like weight and airflow. Those are usually big contributers to cost.

A lot of newer companies getting into any kind of market will sell at a low cost. IT goes for everything from car companies (honda) to downloadable music (itunes). Now Honda's are alot more than they used to be while not being that more advanced compared to the average than they used to be and online music pricing is undergoing a struggle to raise the price. I'd expect the same from this helmet company if they are new.

That said- I wouldn't buy a helmet from a new company unless I was certain they were doing alright. Where can you research the reliability of a helmet?

quality is probably on par with HJC. And there was one that had snell tesing (the most expensiveone). Also had a flip-up.

sounds like they may have the same deal going as Fulmer.

Fulmer does not deal with major distributors and sells directly to the stores, which keeps prices down.
