Welcome Metricman (Douglas) to the Total Motorcycle community!

I'm glad that you friends recommend it to you as that is the highest complement I can think of to give. Please pass along my thanks to your friends for doing that.

We have quite a big community filled with friendly, helpful and useful riders who enjoy motorcycling as much as you do.

I welcome new motorcycle shows as there are just not enough on the channel lineups to fill our craving. Tell us more about the show if you like, we are all ears.

Why not tell us more about yourself, what you ride, etc.

Again, welcome to the site and have a great time here. :D

Mike.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I ride a 2004 Honda RC-51 and I am chopping my 2001 Yamaha Road Star. I love both bikes and would recommend either to anybody.

Well, Doug I have to say that I think you are a SOB (and I'm being kind here) because if you were sincere then you would have sent a personal message not a generic message.

I would like everyone to check out this post from "our new friend" from, oh I'm sorry I won't say his Freaking SPAM message again. see below link.

Yes I posted this on more than one site because I ran out of a new way to introduce myself. I was given a list of about 12-13 sites from the guys I ride with. All of which were supposed to be sites where people would embrace the TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin. Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MY SITE. Isn't that what true spam is. We are doing a TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Adminwhich will help TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin as a whole. Our goal is to let TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin know there is finally something out there for them. That will really do well for TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin. My posts were also a gauge to see if advertising on this site was in the best interest of TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin. Although almost everyone was great here, ejshotgun seems to want TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin to fail and we would like to be involved with supporters, rather than haters of TV Commercial promotion ad post removed - Admin.

Welcome aboard!

I think one of the problems here is that when someone new comes around, and their first post basically only says "this is what I do, and you can check it out here", it involves SPAM. Although you say this isn't the case with you, it seems to be the case with 99% of those types of posters. They come once, state their website, and then never come back. You also mentioned that you've been so busy visiting near a dozen other forum sites, that this implies to us that you're not so interested in a community for yourself, but more interested in gathering numbers to pull over to your website.

Also, if you're interested in gauging our advertising climate here, Mike "TotalMotorcycle" can give you the information you seek. You can also go to this link, which is provided for those interested in advertising. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/advertisewithus.htm

This however is our members' forum. When new people come here, we like to hear about their ride and about them as a rider - letting us in on your TV show might be something to do once we've gotten to know you.

Personally... I've been exposed to so many builder shows, I'm worn on the whole thing - metric or otherwise. But it is nice to see a fresh perspective out there, and I do wish you luck in your venture - I'm sure many, many people will love the show. Hopefully you will find this forum to be a place to visit for good conversation. Getting off on the wrong foot doesn't mean that you're not welcome here. We just sometimes get a bit nervous with all the SPAMing that goes on.

Cheers,
Loonette
