Scooter riders don't wave because the drag created by their arm being extended or raised will cause them to lose too much speed.

I don't have much room to talk as I ride a Honda Rebel....haha
If winning isn't everything....why keep score?

As a serious reply, they have a case of tunnel vision. Might be a side effect of wearing jeans and a sweatshirt for "gear!" :laughing:
