FAQs

#1 Unread post by bok »

How about a FAQs forum.

not sure if it's been discussed to death or not yet, but i was thinking it might be a good idea to take the good stickies and just sticky the main post (ie. the helmet fit stickie and the which bike should i buy sticky) and then lock it down so people have one place with all the stickies of topics that get asked about all the time without a couple pages of discussion.

maybe invite the original poster to revise their post or reference the original discussion in it.

we could maybe anchor that as the top forum on the site and add to it as good points come up.

Good suggestion and one we try to use as often as possible. You will notice in many of the forums we will have sticky theads at the top, maybe 1-4 of them. We have to be quite selective as too many stickies and it will look like there are no messages in that forum! LOL.

But even if a question or thead doesn't get a sticky it doesn't mean it is no good. :D
