Get an old bike if you are hurting in the insurance department. My '82 Honda is $118 a year.
Is it actually that much more cheaper if you get an old bike? i mean maybe for an experienced biker over the age of 25, but I would think that if I got a cheap newer bike like a Blast or an older bike like an old Nighthawk from 92 or something they would pretty much be the same because, at least according to selling price, they're worth about the same.

What do you think?

My $85 is for my 82 yamaha. Been paying it for two years. I'm 23, last speeding ticket was 3 years ago.

New rules in my part of the country... (BC)

Now, if you get nailed with a ticket for excessive speed (Over 20 kms above the limit,) it can cost you an extra $1000+ for insurance...

In WV, 15+ is reckless driving. 25+ is excessive speed. Reckless driving is an automatic maximum speeding ticket. Excessive speed is another charge all together. Luckily, I haven't had to know the difference. ;)

In Va it's 20 over or 80, whichever comes first for reckless.
