I've never tried a three-wheeler, but I'd give it a whirl.

I was laughing at them because they looked stupid. They reminded me of when children wear their parents clothes and think they are indistinguishable from adults.

My V-Rod isn't the best bike on the road, it's just my favorite.
Sooo basically because you don't think it's cool, you were laughing at others who like what they ride? That makes no sense to me. Especially coming from a guy riding a HD, powered by a Porsche designed motor, with the basic architecture stolen from Honda, that you have to bend in half to ride. (And yes, I've ridden 3 different models of the V-Rod, you bend in half to ride them.)

I'll laugh at anyone who looks like an idiot, it doesn't matter what they are riding. The V-Rod is based on the engine from the HD VR-1000. Porsche offered some refinements in the manufacturing process, like cold cracked connecting rods and some others, but the design is all Harley. I think the idea of a muscle bike/power cruiser comes more from Yamaha (Vmax) than from Honda. It's definitely not the most comfortable bike in the world. I have bar risers on mine but it's still not as comfortable as my old FXD.

Anyway, to get back on topic, Spyders suck.

I voted: Uncool.

I really don't know about these reverse 3 wheelers myself, a little too bulky, big and too much like a car (they even use car tires). I think if a big company like BRP didn't own Can-Am (and Rotax and Ski-do, Sea-Do and Lynx...) then this would have all fell into failure years ago. Rather than market them as "motorcycles" I think Can-Am should market them as 3 wheel cars. But a classification is a classification.

Would I try one? Sure, maybe that is what is really needed and what Can-Am pushes for, after all, trying one can be good word of mouth.

Ok enough with the cons. What I like about them (and thus it isn't a FAIL for me) is they are innovative, unique and appeal to a really different crowd that hasn't been marketed to very much. It's a cool option to have, even if it's not for me.

...and I like the yellow and the blue color choices too!

It must be more fun to ride this thing than driving a car!

Anyone ever ridden a snowmobile? Two skis out front and a single track in the back, and they are a lot of fun.

Well, that was quite an interesting model to vote on and discuss eh? Turns out it's a "like it or hate it" type of bike based on the voting, which it pretty much I think what we all expected before the vote! But no matter, the 2013 Can-Am Spyder ST-S still comes out on the Cool side of the vote by 52%! Well done Can-Am!
