Re: What did you do today...
I slept half the day away. Sigh......It was inevitable that I finally catch a cold when so many people at work come in when they are sick.

Re: What did you do today...
Sigh and yet here in Michigan I have seen it snow in July. I think August is the only month of the year I have never seen it snow here.sv-wolf wrote:totalmotorcycle wrote:I went for a ride on my motorcycle, it was +11°C today. I think winter is over here now.
Hi Mike
OK. I conclude that you are either an optimist or are as yet not fully experienced in the ways of the British weather. At a guess, I'd say both.![]()
The winter ain't over till the dice stop rolling, and that won't be till the end of March or sometimes beyond.
Moral: when in the UK make the best use of good weather while it is here. It may not last. On the other hand, of course, it may... And then again...!
Cheers

I have to admit, last year's UK spring and summer was kind of short and not that hot... hopefully my last year here in brilliant.

Sure would and I would gladly ride it in San Fran too!blues2cruise wrote:That would be a great commuter bike.totalmotorcycle wrote:Today I put up the 2011 Zero Electric Motorcycle Models on Total Motorcycle

Re: What did you do today...
I went to Langley after work today.
I went to a Ford dealer to look at new vehicles. I spent a good deal of time outside on the lot and inside the showroom. I even sat in one of the vehicles......NOT ONE PERSON ACKNOWLEDGED ME.
Then I went next door to the Mitsubish dealer.....again.....nobody came to ask if I wanted help.
Then I went to the Kia dealer.....nobody could be bothered.....
Then I went around the block to the used car dealer.....same....
I think I will go back to Metrotown Mitsubishi where I not only got acknowledged, I got my questions answered, a test drive and a follow up phone call.......guess who is getting my business.....
I had flashbacks of when I bought my first motorcycle.....
I don't know whether they are just lazy or they think a middle aged woman wouldn't be buying a new vehicle or what......new cars must be flying out of the showroom that they don't need a sale.
I'll be making my choice in the next week or two.

Re: What did you do today...
I woke up, went downstairs to make breakfast for the dog and cats.
Made coffee
checked www.wunderground.com to see if I was riding or driving today
sigh... 36 degrees - too cold
Took the car to work
rest of day - still pending

After four years of shooting his BB gun and pellet gun I let Harley shoot the .22 today. I'm so proud!
