Red Cross to Hold Motorcycle Benefit

The Red Cross is sponsoring a fundraising motorcycle ride, scheduled for Nov. 18 with starting points in two counties. One pack of motorcycles will leave from the Circle in downtown Sebring; the other will leave Central Park in downtown Winter Haven.
The Red Motorcycle poker run will require riders to visit four road stops, ending at one final destination. Riders have a choice between stops in Highlands County and Polk County. As part of the event, Fun Bike Center will have a drawing for a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic to be given away after the ride. Tickets are available for $25 donations. All money raised will support Red Cross services in Highlands and Polk counties.
