i hear the price is going to be decent on this one too...could be wrong

GSXR1000 eats this bike for lunch in looks and performance...the new gixxer 1000 runs better 1/4 than the busa...if you want something to tear up the curves get a 06-07 gixxer 1000, if you want something that goes fast in a straight line get a ZX-14...hell GET BOTH and they would cost about the same as this one bike, or get an R6 and slap a turbo on it and nothing would catch you (of course the ducati is QUITE exclusive and rare)

this is all opinion! i dont want to start a flame war

For some reason, Ducati's styling and their trademark red color never appealed to me. I'm sure it is going to be an amazing motorcycle, but it will be very expensive, and I would never be able to buy one.

It's a very singular purpose bike like most of the Japanese liter size sport bikes. It looks great as do most new bikes in this class. As for performance they are all so close it really doesn't matter. It's the package of rider and bike that sets the true performance standard.

it looks decent in the pics, but i saw it in person at the motorcycle show is seattle....WOW it looks so sexy, looks REALLY small almost like a toy compared to the zx14 or busa or even the gixxer 600...still would be surprised if this "most powerful twin ever made" can hit 9s...but about the price, its like 25k for the best one with the nicest suspension is what i heard at the show...although 12995 or w/e the price is going to be is a damn good price for an italian superbike...

is it true that this thing has a 2.5 gallon fuel tank!?!?!?!?

The price on the bike is just under 15k. Has anyone heard if there's going to be a 750cc class model of it?
