Liquid plastics/Resin casting

#1 Unread post by Shorts »

I'm thinking of doing a project pretty much the same as this fella here:

Has anyone used resin casting for any other projects? I'm thinking if purchasing an Alumilite Kit (since they do ship overseas).

Well, I'd love to take credit for the work, but it is not mine. I found that link posted on a Ducati forum whn searching for "mirror extenders". I am using it as a reference to produce my own extenders for the ST2. (Who knows, if I can get them right, I might produce some extra sets if anyone else is interested in them).

I thought about contacting the gentleman to see if he'd make a set for the Duc, but the link was several years old and for the sake of template reproduction, it'd be easiest to do that here.
