From the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show:

Now if they would only have the gonads to make these, I could forgive them for not coming up with a new VFR or VTR....

But are they actually gonna produce any of 'em, or is this just a tease?

Their record of bringing show bikes in to production has been pretty dismal for the past decade or so. These all look to be fairly close to production ready though....

I only really like the second one, but I would buy it in an instant.

The G-wing based prototype looks faked to me. But the classic CB looks pretty damn cool.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Nice retro. :D I'd love to own that one.

I'll add these to the Total Motorcycle BIG BOOK of Concept bikes shortly (just working on the full 2008 Yamaha motorcycle lineup... almost done, just off-roads needed)

In the last 3 pics, I spy an air-cooled, DOHC inline-4. Looks like the same (retro) engine I've got in my Nighthawk. Although still popular in Europe and Asia, we haven't seen that engine configuration in the U.S. since they stopped selling the Nighthawk in '03 (and doubt we will again).

I saw these on another site... my opinion hasn't changed. The first one isn't nearly as offensive to my eye as the Ruin, I mean, Rune was. I still don't really care for it though.

Now those next two? Image meow! I dig 'em!
We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

But us Nighthawk owners can sure keep hoping that they do. ;-) I'm REALLY liking the CB1100F concept there. Just wish it had a 4-2 exhaust and the rear fender didn't look like they stole it from a dirt bike.
