Bike Crash
Well, I was biking around (bicycle) ((I BMX Race...) anyway, I was riding not paying any attention, and saw a rock, fairly sized, hopped it, and on the other side was alo of glass that I didn't notice, so I hopped the rock, hit all the glass, popped both my tires, and head first straight into a telephone poll, cracked the top of my full face helmet, and tore my racing jersey..

I feel for you Kawasaki. The loss and the pain. What are the chances of so many things going wrong at the same time?
Dam, I wish someone got it on video, it would make entertaining TV. Don't you agree?

Mike.

A bit of info for anyone who lives outside of BC. It's actually the law now for bicyclists in BC to wear a helmet.
Although many still choose to ride vulnerable with no helmet, the smart ones wear helmets.
Part of the problem as to why everyone isn't wearing a helmet is because the police seldom enforce the helmet law. And a lot of people feel some resentment towards the favouritism shown to turban wearing people. They get special treatment because of their religion.
The law should be the law.
They can ride motorcycles as well without a helmet, because of their turbans. And you know who will be paying the medical bills if they have a head injury.....the tax payers.

Unless their turban is DOT approved, they either need to 1) Take it seriously- No helmet = Drive a car, or 2) Revoke the helmet law.blues2cruise wrote:A bit of info for anyone who lives outside of BC. It's actually the law now for bicyclists in BC to wear a helmet.
