new Canadian member here, with my 1981 CB900 - my first bike. I bought and restored her a year and a half ago now (not quite sure when "it" became a "her") and foaming at the mouth to get more riding experience.

There's still snow on the ground here in Calgary, but I'm itching to get the bike out anyways. It's been a long, cold winter (well ok not all that cold) and that first ride is gonna feel so good!

cheers

Welcome, muz! Nice bike - I've always liked the look of that model. If you haven't already, post a pic in our gallery!
Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?

Hi Muz,

Welcome to our community! :welcome:

I am riding a 1981 CB400T (my first bike also) and I too am from Calgary! Looks like we have a bit in common.

Yes, there sure is snow on the ground after today (and the past few days). Hopefully that is gone soon and then we can all go for a joyous ride together.

Now that you have joined the board and we know who you are you will be expected to show up at our local TMW pub nights. I think the next one is in mid-April but we will keep you posted.

Andrea :)

:welcome: Muz to the new and improved forum and the community! :D

Good to see that you are in Calgary as it will add yet another rider to our TMW Pub Nights! :D

I've always wanted to try out a CB900, love the looks of them... But then I'm a sucker for a 1980's looking motorcycle... haha.

You will have to post a review of your 1981 CB900 in the Motorcycle Review forum. I'd love to read it.

:welcome: and enjoy!!

Mike.
