Mrs. Stark is still a Ural wannabe. Here she is at the New York show on Friday trying out a Gear Up. The young lady in the sidecar I believe works for the Ural importer - she knows Gummi. When I mentioned Mrs. Stark and I were friends with "the head of the Canadian Ural club", she brightened up and said, "Mike? You mean Mike?" :D

I see that Mrs Stark is looking as radiant as ever, as always. :righton:

The young lady in the sidecar is Madina, she's the head of Marketing for Ural. Never had a chance to meet her in person yet, but we've corresponded over the last five years via email about Ural related activities and events. Her hubby (Ilya Khait) is the President of IMZ-Ural, btw.

Hey, that's awesome! We have a famous person on the site, Gummi (mike). Heck, I haven't even met Madina yet..haha.

I have to say URAL sure knows how to build a rugged motorcycle, that URAL looks like it would go through a war zone.

Technically it has. The Ural was first built back in the Second World War when the Russians reverse-engineered a stolen BMW R71 Wehrmacht rig. It wasn't until the late 70's that they started offering them to the communist civilian market and the late 80's when they started exporting them to the West. The Gear-Up that the lovely Mrs Stark is sitting on is pretty much the same model that is offered to the military today.

More so than you realise... since getting the Ural, I've been featured in a couple of newspapers, Canadian motorcycle magazines, the Ural website, many other Ural and motorcycle related websites and even had a 5 minute interview for a motorcycle themed radio talk show out west. I'm a legend in my own mind.
